Prince Harry and Meghan appeared to 'snub' Queen Camilla's landmark birthday
Queen Camilla turned 76 on Monday with her birthday celebrations marked in a very regal fashion. Along with a traditional gun salute, she was treated to a rendition of "Happy Birthday" by the Band of the Irish Guards in London.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made no mention of the birthday anywhere on their social media platforms, despite it being a milestone for the Queen Consort as it is the first since she stepped into her new role in September. Prince William and the Princess of Wales took to social media to wish “a very happy birthday" to the Queen. The silence from ex-working royals Harry and Meghan comes after the royal family also seemed to snub their daughter Princess Lilibet's birthday earlier this year in June when their youngest child turned two.
“Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday today!” read the post, accompanied by a photo of Camilla being crowned on coronation day at the Anglican church, as well a clip of the ringing of the Abbey bells.
