Move over the 1980s power suit, 2023 has a chic ensemble that fans have said "fits like a dream". When Primark showcased its blazer and trouser combo on Instagram on Tuesday , shoppers were quick to comment.
The bright single-breasted blazer was modelled alongside matching trousers to create a stylish suit. After the retailer wrote "powering through the week with the suit of the moment @terriemcevoy. Blazer £22/€24/$26 and trouser £14/€16/$18 each made using a minimum of 50% recycled polyester", the orange power suit soon had fans taking to the comments box to share their views.
One shopper said: "Love this outfit". Another added: "The suit fits like a dream." - which can been seen on the store's website. Sizes listed range from four to 20.However, the styling of the suit wasn't for everyone. While the website images mix up the blazer with matching shorts and either a crop top or turtle neck, the Insta post teams the blazer with matching trousers but no top under the blazer.
One shopper wrote: "Love the colour but made me anxious waiting for the moment the front of the blazer slips and exposes everything." Another said: "I just bought this suit, I'm considering wearing just a bra underneath although I bought a cute blue cami in case I'm too scared to go all out." Instagram Suits are also a feature over on H&M's website. An oversized single-breasted blazer is currently in the retailers sale at £35.00 is down from £69.99 for the dark beige version of the lined jacket. A show-stopping light pink version of this blazer, along with three other colours of the item, remains at £69.99. Matching tailored trousers retail at £39.99, with the dark beige wool-blend trousers reduced to £25.00.
