Crews were first called on today at 12.44pm after receiving reports of the building fire. Four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood and Penwortham along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston attended the fire on Mount Street, Preston. Crews remain at the scene tackling the blaze. A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 12:44 on the 16th August 2023, four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood and Penwortham along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston attended a domestic property fire on Mount Street, Preston. Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Crews remain in attendance.
