Armed police were quickly dispatched to close down the scene as the victim was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.Neighbours reported police swarming the area in the immediate aftermath of the incident, and the helicopter was spotted circling overhead. Pictures from the area this morning show police cordons in place and businesses on the small parade of shops appear to remain closed and it is not known when they will reopen.A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"Around 8.10pm on Sunday, August 13, police received a report of a 35-year-old man being found injured on Ladymuir Crescent, Glasgow. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
