Jacek Sikorski and his partner now feel unable to leave their home and are struggling to sleep at night following the incidents.

A Polish couple, whose Newtownabbey home has been attacked twice in six months, say they have been left traumatised and just want to be allowed to live in peace.

It was reported around 8.30pm that three men, each wearing black balaclavas, approached the house carrying hammers and mallets. The front living room window was smashed while the front door window and car windows shattered. "I watched the footage back on the CCTV cameras and saw the men smashing the front windows of the house and Marta's car window so I drove straight home."

"I have spent a lot of money on renovations myself as I can't afford to hire a crew to do that for me.
