Officers are currently searching for the pair and anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to get in touch.
Niamh Quigley, 12, and Caileigh Ogilvie, 13, were reported missing from the area on Friday and were seen on Hamilton Road in the town around 9.30pm on Saturday.
