Police officer charged with attempted murder after woman rushed to hospital
A SERVING police officer has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was rushed to hospital from a city centre hotel.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Manchester at around 11.30pm on Thursday over concerns for the woman's welfare.She was taken to hospital where she remains in a stable condition.The serving Lancashire Police officer has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester Crown Court tomorrow.Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "At approximately 11.
