'Local officers are aware this is an issue at most schools'
Rushcliffe South Police have monitored the parking at a village primary school after complaints were received of "dangerous and inconsiderate" parking. Reports were received about poor parking outside Costock Church of England Primary School, off Leake Road, but officers say that they were not able to find a problem after attending the site during drop off on Wednesday, September 28.
A statement posted by Rushcliffe South Police on Facebook said: "After complaints of dangerous and inconsiderate parking officers attended Costock to monitor the parking round drop off time at the primary school. It was clear that due to us being present this morning the problem did not present itself, but our presence was well received by parents and the head teacher.
"Local officers are aware this is an issue at most schools around drop off and collection time and when operational commitments allow we will endeavor to pay attention to this and other locations."
