Police make arrest after man stabbed in street brawl involving 'Rambo-style hunting knife'
Police have made an arrest after a street brawl involving a 'Rambo-style hunting knife' in Bolton. Officers were called to the disturbance, between a group of men on Booth Road, Little Lever, at around 1pm on Sunday .
In an update, police have confirmed that one man, aged 24, has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is in custody for questioning. Investigations are still ongoing currently, with police believing it was a 'targeted' incident.Police erected three cordons, two in Little Lever and one in Radcliffe. The car park of a nearby pub was cordoned off whilst a vehicle was processed by forensics as well as on Kirkstall Gardens, Radcliffe, where a man was detained.
DCI Dean Purtill said: "This is still very much an ongoing investigation in its very early stages but we are confident that this is a targeted incident and the wider community are not at risk.
