As previously reported by the Glasgow Times, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze in Tradeston's Kingston Street on Sunday morning at around 9.54am.Fire crews and emergency services remained at the scene for more than a day with photographs revealing the staggering devastation of the building.The force has advised anyone travelling through the area to check Glasgow City Council’s social media for traffic updates as a short diversion remains in place around the site.
“Operations control initially mobilised four fire appliances and one height vehicle to the scene, which was increased to six fire appliances. “There are no reported casualties. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and have now left after ensuring the scene was made safe.”
