An air ambulance was sent to the scene of the crash yesterday
No arrests were made after a crash involving a motorcyclist in Ashton-under-Lyne, police have confirmed.
Pictures taken on Wednesday evening showed a large cordon in place along Oldham Road, with a number of police vehicles at the scene. An air ambulance was sent to the incident and landed on the top floor of the nearby IKEA car park. Another who saw the emergency services arrive at the scene said: "I got off the bus coming from Oldham, I usually walk home from the bus stop via Boodle Street, but it was taped off as there had been an accident.
