Officers are trying to locate David Reid

An urgent search has been launched to trace a missing Scots man as police become 'increasingly concerned' for his welfare.David is described as being 5ft 11in tall and of stocky build, with short grey hair. He is believed to have been wearing a white t-shirt at the time of his disappearance.

Police are urging anyone who had information on David's whereabouts, or anyone who believes they may have seen him since Wednesday, to get in touch. Inspector David Gibson said: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for David’s welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible. Top news stories today “If you have any information about his whereabouts, or think you may have seen him since Wednesday, please call 101 as soon as possible quoting reference 1031 of 9 August.”
