Police have shut down a huge cannabis farm containing more than 1,000 plants following a report by a member of the public.
Pictures and video submitted to the ECHO show smashed glass at the front door of the property and officers removing bags into a police van. Three men aged 23, 38 and 39, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and they remain in custody for questioning.The premises was made safe by Merseyside Police's Cannabis Dismantling Team and enquiries are ongoing.
"It’s important to know what these sings are, just in case you come across one in your own community. It’s pleasing to seize so many illegal plants and to put an end to a potential death-trap, which is exactly what these cannabis farms are, because they pose serious dangers.
