Police digging on Yorkshire Moors for murder victim Keith Bennet after 'human remains' found
Police are digging on the Yorkshire Moors for the first time in over 30 years following the alleged discovery of a human skull. Officers are searching Saddleworth Moor for murder victim Keith Bennett, who was taken nearly 60-years-ago by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.Keith is the only victim of the murders never found. His killers refused to say where he was. Keith’s brother Alan, 66, has been informed about the discovery.
Their victims Pauline Reade, 16, John Kilbride, 12, Keith Bennett, 12, Lesley Ann Downey, 10, and Edward Evans, 17, were buried on Saddleworth Moor. "Following direct contact with the author, we were informed that he had discovered what he believes are potential human remains in a remote location on the Moors and he agreed to meet with officers yesterday afternoon to elaborate on his find and direct us to a site of interest.
