Emergency services were called to the centre on King's Inch Road around 6pm on Friday after the incident unfolded.
An eyewitness told Glasgow Live that several shops were forced to close while investigations were carried out. Officers were said to be looking through CCTV footage as part of their inquiries.Multiple police cars and two ambulances have been spotted outside the centre's Primark store, although it is believed the incident happened on the main thoroughfare outside JD Sports.
