Police closed part of a main road in Nottingham after a crash. Crusader Island in Clifton was down to two lanes due to the incident, which was reported at around 2.45pm.
Nottingham City Council's traffic control centre said police were at the scene, adding that traffic was queuing back to its junction with Farnborough Road. "RTC: A453 outbound at Crusader Island is down to two lanes," Nottingham Travelwise wrote on Twitter. "Traffic tailing back to A453 / Farnborough Road / Fabis Drive Island. Police on scene." Traffic monitoring site Inrix added: "A453 Clifton Lane Southbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at Hartness Road ."
