Police and forensic officers unwell after 'hazardous substance' found in Glasgow flat
Police officers took unwell when evacuating homes after a "potentially hazardous substance" was found in a flat in Glasgow.
Cops arrived at the flat on Altyre Street shortly after 5pm and remained on the scene well into Tuesday. The affected streets – Alytre Street, Dalness Street, Ard Street and Trainard Avenue – were reopened, having been closed overnight. "We are working closely with our partners. I would like to thank residents and motorists for their patience whilst we dealt with this incident. There was no danger to the wider public.”
