The building dates back to 1790

The non-profit organisation aims to create gathering spaces that useas a platform to impact the community, build connections and inspire people to engage with good food.

Scottish Canals were previously awarded funding to undertake extensive reconstruction and refurbishment of the building, which was built around 1790.They plan to run a small cafe with a"simple" menu, with no use of gas or commercial frying equipment.
