Pierre Gasly’s car ‘came alive’ again just 90 seconds before Belgian GP startPierre Gasly has revealed he almost did not start the Belgian Grand Prix, and his car “became alive again” with moments to spare.
“So we had to push the car back to the garage and at that time they told me we may not take part in the race, and then like 90 seconds before the race start the car became alive again. “Not too sure exactly what happened but starting from the pit lane, I tried to stay focused, tried to stay composed and calm inside the car to the best I could with the tyres, and even surprised we made it back to the top 10, especially after the last couple of races. Extremely happy about it.”
