during the first hours of its official reopening day after having been closed since November. Crowds that had been queuing to get inside the Castle then walked through, with a special £1 ticket offer having been introduced for the day.
The historic site has been closed since the Trust previously running it went into liquidation last November.The grounds of the Castle were opened in May for several screening events, including for the King's Coronation and Eurovision. But Monday marked the first time the public were allowed back inside the ducal palace.
