Phillip Schofield confirmed his exit from This Morning after 21 years over the weekend
ITV have confirmed the show Phillip Schofield will present solo following his This Morning exit last week.
According to The Mirror, insiders said the presenter may also return with either Dancing on Ice, The Cube or 5 Gold Rings. One source told The Mirror: "When Piers Morgan left GMB it was panic stations as everyone set about finding someone to replace such a huge personality. In the event, they needn't have worried.
"This Morning is made by one of the best and most diligent teams in television, who produce over 12 hours of live television each week. Phil has been at the helm of many ITV shows, including the popular The Cube, though this hasn't been on ITV since 2021, and 5 Gold Rings, which has been off air since the previous year. According to the source, bosses want to take Phil's presenting stints "slowly, one project at a time".
