Phillip Schofield speaks out 24 hours after Holly Willoughby's swearing blunder on ITV's This Morning
Phillip Schofield has responded a whole 24 hours after his move led This Morning viewers to think Holly Willoughby swore live on the show. The hosting duo wrapped up their week on the ITV daytime show on Thursday as they hand over the reins to Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on a Friday.
"What would you do if you had to make a decision that would affect life as we know it across the world?" Phillip asked in a teaser for their interview with the film's stars. Holly then continued with a slight look of concern: "Well, that's the premise of the new film 'Knock at the Cabin' which asks one family to make an impossible choice.
"Oh, I’ll go away then," Holly declared before shouting: "Bye," as she waved and walked off behind the camera, leaving Phil laughing and telling his co-host to 'get a cushion' before the footage aired. Instagram "Nearly made @hollywilloughby drop the f bomb," he captioned the post to which This Morning's account replied: "Nearly!" with a roll on the floor laughing emoji. A caption across the video also read: "So close." Holly, however, is yet to respond.
