Peter Kay has announced he will be preforming monthly shows at London's O2 Arena to crowds of more than 20,000 fans.
It follows his comeback after a 12-year hiatus where the star kept himself away from the lime light. Announcing his first live tour since 2010, the tour includes two dates each in Manchester and Liverpool and runs until August 2023. Speaking on BBC Radio 2, the Bolton comedian explained it was "unforeseen family circumstances" that meant he had to cancel his 2017 tour. "I thought we should've called this tour Peter Who?" he told BBC Radio 2's Zoe Ball breakfast show.
Kay will be the first comedian to be given his own residency at the O2 in Greenwich. He will perform to crowds of up to of 20,000 there once a month for almost a year.
