Peter Andre reflects on 'horrific' anxiety
Peter Andre has opened up about his “horrific” battle with anxiety as he marks World Mental Health Day.
The dad-of-four has been open about his own experience with his mental health during his time in the spotlight, including revealing he had a breakdown in his 20s after rising to fame with his number one hit Mysterious Girl. “Many millions of people worldwide suffer from mental health and it’s important to bring this to discussion.
“For me it was a combination of therapy and medication. This lasted for many years. I was in a bad way and my late 20s were a total blur, but the medication put me in the frame of mind to then be able to deal with underlying problems through therapy.”
