He has been jailed
A 24-year-old man has been sentenced for sexually assaulting a man in his own bed in Northampton. Police said Budd Lee Simmons's victim "keeps wondering if he could have done anything differently" in the wake of the crime.
Police were called and Simmons was arrested. He was charged with sexual assault, and pleaded guilty at Northampton Crown Court on November 17 this year.Simmons, previously of Northampton, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison. "This man could not have done anything differently and he must not blame himself. Budd Simmons is the only person in this case who should feel responsibility and shame for his actions.
