The local funeral director specialises in eco-friendly burials
A well-known local funeral director, Gaulds, has won two major categories and two highly recommended accolades at the recent Scottish Funeral Awards that took place on August 18 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow.
John Gordon said: “These great wins, along with a highly recommended in both Scotland’s Best Eco-Friendly Funeral and Scotland’s Best Funeral Director categories, are a great achievement and testament to the high level of service and care we have provided our clients over the years.” John Gordon said: “All of our staff choose to do this job because they take great pride in it. Of course, it’s a massive responsibility to be trusted with the care of a family’s loved one, but it’s also a huge honour”.
Sometimes called natural or conservation burial, this is an increasingly popular, environmentally-conscious alternative to the traditional cemetery.
