Several police cars, a fire engine and ambulances were seen outside the train station in Longniddry but tragically the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services raced to an incident after receiving reports of a casualty on the tracks at 12.30pm on October 30.ScotRail earlier confirmed that all services that pass through the station.
