Winger Roberts enjoyed a successful spell at Parkhead on loan from Manchester City under the Irishman.
The 26-year-old is flying high with Sunderland and he is said to be on the radar of his old Parkhead boss. Roberts moved to the east end of Glasgow on loan from Manchester City in January 2016 when Ronny Deila was in charge but he returned when Rodgers arrived that summer for a second stint from the Etihad.
Now the Sun say that Celtic could be back in for him, saying there is “growing interest in Patrick Roberts from Celtic and Southampton,” adding “Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers likes Sunderland ace Roberts, 26, who spent 18 months in Glasgow while he was still a Manchester City player. Southampton could also join the Roberts race as they rebuild.”
Kvistgaarden, 21, signed a new deal in spring with Brondby until 2027 and has scored 13 league goals in 27 starts for the club. And, in the recent interview, Kvistgaarden admitted he sees his future away from his Danish homeland. "In order for my long-term goal of moving abroad to come true, there are a lot of short-term goals that must be met first and foremost. Right now I'm in a really good place. I keep developing, I keep learning and I get playing time. But as quickly as it has happened for me, it can go the other way too.
