Passengers have been filmed crawling through the hatches at Manchester airport's baggage reclaim in a desperate attempt to speed up their luggage collection.
Passengers at one of the country’s busiest airports took drastic measures to try and find their luggage.
One woman tells a staff member at Manchester Airport they had been waiting for ‘one and a half hours’ to get their bags. The chaotic incident is exposed in an investigation by Channel 4 Dispatches, which sent an undercover reporter to the airport to work as a baggage handler for Swissport. An unnamed airport worker said it is ‘f*****g chaos’ and the reason behind all the delays is a shortage of staff after the pandemic.
