Vicky Whitfield told how she got a 'mother's instinct' to go downstairs before she found the killer nurse standing beside her baby's cot as hospital alarms sounded.
The parents of a premature baby who survived evil killer Lucy Letby have told how they found the murder nurse by their daughter's cot as alarms sounded.
Following the guilty verdict and sentencing, Mike and Vicky have have spoken out to reveal the horrific moment they nearly lost their premature daughter, Felicity, after she unexpectedly suffered a collapsed lung. Felicity was being treated at the Countess of Chester Hospital where Letby worked in 2013 - five years before she was first investigated.
Five years on, the couple made the shocking connection when they saw a news report on Letby on the TV. However, Vicky told the programme she can't forget that moment as she said: "As soon as I saw the image on the TV it was that exact same stare. It just made me sick to the stomach the thought that it could have been her that did something."
