Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident
Emergency services raced to Maxwellton Street at around 5.40pm yesterday, July 23, where they found a 26-year-old man seriously injured.
The individual was blue-lighted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is fighting for his life.READ MORE: Glasgow man disappeared after night out in Magaluf as family frantic with worryA Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.40 pm on Sunday, July 23, police were called to Maxwellton Street, Paisley, where a 26-year-old man was found seriously injured.
"Maxwellton Street is closed between Maxwellton Road and Gordon Street. Local diversions are in place in place."
