The annual display has not taken place since 2019. The event was scrapped in 2020 and 2021 due to theToday, a spokesperson for Renfrewshire Council said:"The Paisley fireworks event has not taken place since 2019 and there are no plans for it to return.
"We took a decision to prioritise events which take place over a longer period and drive footfall and spend in our town centres. This means more opportunities for people to join in, and greater benefits for businesses.
