Elizabeth and Robert Finnie – known as Betty and Bobby – marked their diamond wedding anniversary with friends and family on Sunday.
A Paisley couple who overcame national service and years of separation before tying the knot this week celebrated 60 years of marriage.And despite Robert being called up for national service, their affection for one another survived the distance and many months they were forced to spend apart.
