Stephen Lobb changed his name to Stephen Rose six years ago
A paedophile who was repeatedly late checking in with police was living in a tent in a churchyard, Nottingham Crown Court heard. Stephen Lobb changed his name by deed poll to Stephen Rose six years ago.
He was put on the register after he received three-and-a-half years in youth custody on four charges of sexual activity with a child under 16. The breaches came to light after Rose went to Mansfield Police Station and registered as being of no fixed address. This triggered a notification requirement for Rose every seven days. Over the following six weeks, Rose was a day late notifying police on three occasions, and three days late on the fourth.
