“I want to tell you that your video about the suicide thing saved my life,” Grant Edmond told Pimblett during a meet-and-greet ahead of UFC 282. After telling Pimblett his words are ‘Why I’m still here’, Grant explained to the UFC what’s been going on in his life and how one of their fighters helped him.“Paddy’s message when he was in the ring after he won talking about his buddy who passed away saved my life and I just wanted to say thank you to him. I appreciate him very much and I’m so glad to meet him.
The Baddy was clearly blown away by the interaction and once he was done thanking his fan he explained how much it means to get feedback like that.“That means more to me than any fight ever will, someone telling me they didn’t kill themselves because of what I said. Do you know what I mean? It gets you here [points to his heart].”
Pimblett will face the toughest test of his career when he takes on 11-fight UFC veteran Jared Gordon in the co-main event of
