Belfast Live has obtained exclusive figures through a Freedom of Information request
There have been over 100 attacks on staff working on Gliders in Belfast since the service's introduction, Belfast Live can reveal.
In the same time period, from September 2018 to now, 26 Glider staff members have taken leaves of absences. Belfast Live found that in the last six months, 20 attacks on Glider staff have been reported to Translink. "It is important to put some context to this figure. Since Glider was introduced around 26m passenger journeys have been made.
"We also encourage individuals to report incidents of Anti-social behaviour either to Translink, Crimestoppers or PSNI so we can take preventative measures and the strongest penalties are brought against offenders.
