Diana revealed the sweet meaning behind some of her best-loved phrases
Outlander has a massive fan base across the world, and many will be very familiar with the words and phrases used throughout the books and series.
The terms "Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ" and "Sassenach" are just a few of many that fans will know very well, but some people have wondered how they came about and what the inspirations were behind them. The 70-year-old recently told her 371,000 followers that it was in fact her husband, Doug Watkins, who is to thank for them.
