Royal author Omid Scobie claims he knows the real reason Meghan Markle won't attend the King's Coronation on Saturday
Omid Scobie has appeared on This Morning giving the latest insights into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, having long been connected to the pair as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's biographer.
Despite the obvious factor that the landmark day also falls on her and Harry's son Archie's fourth birthday, Omid says he "disagrees" with that being the prime reason the Duchess won't be attending before going on to explain she is avoiding the event to "protect her peace." According to Omid, Meghan also made the decision to skip the event because “she is aware just how much of the spotlight goes on her when she sets even a foot near the story”.
“Friends have said she sees her life and her future base in the US and that public events in Britain have waned in importance," the publication also reported.
