Two more games are said to be launching the same week as Alan Wake 2, making life even more miserable for Remedy.
The October 26 launch date sandwiches it right between Alan Wake 2 and the Alone In The Dark remake, which arrives the day before on October 25.
As for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, while not confirmed, a new rumour points to it launching on October 27, the same day as Alan Wake 2. It’s no secret that the Bloodlines sequel has been suffering from a troubled development, as evidenced by the multiple delays, a change in developer, and a dearth of meaningful updates.
Fans don’t even know who the new developer is, after publisher Paradox Interactive announced in February 2021 that it had moved the project away from Hardsuit Labs. However, Paradox has teased it will have something of a re-reveal for the game at PAX West, which runs from September 1 to September 4.
