There are a host of nudist beaches around the coastlines and islands of Scotland, perfect for any naturists who want to enjoy a more au naturel beach trip.
Cleat's Shore, Isle of Arran The only official naturist beach in Scotland is located near Lagg on the southwestern shore of the Isle of Arran. It is even described as "probably the least visited nudist beach in the known universe" in book Bare Britain. Ardeer, North Ayrshire On the Ayrshire coast in Stevenston is Ardeer beach which is closer to Glasgow. Plenty of privacy is on offer for those sunbathing nude due to the sea wall and dunes.
