EXCLUSIVE: The family dined at the Britannia Inn in Par, Cornwall, but when it came time to pay they fled when the waitress's back was turned , with some leaving in a Skoda Fabia.
A group of 'dine and dashers' accused of enjoying a slap-up meal costing £260 and leaving the pub without paying have finally settled their bill after being named and shamed online.
The pub then confirmed the bill had been settled, adding: 'After revealing one of the scammer's identities, a family member contacted us and settled the bill. Let's hope they get reimbursed by their shameful relative.' 'They didn't order the largest or most expensive meals or anything that would raise a red flag, some of the kids shared meals. They weren't rude or anything but the CCTV just shows them deliberately getting up and going.'
It comes as furious restaurant bosses Stubbs Restaurant in Ashford, Kent shared pics of a group who tucked into an enormous Sunday lunch including oysters and lobster thermidors that cost an eyewatering £489 before allegedly driving off 'as fast as they could' without paying.
