Nottinghamshire County Council has closed part of Carlton Road, Worksop after a large sinkhole opened up
Nottinghamshire County Council highways staff have closed a road after a large sinkhole opened up. CCTV footage from the scene showed the hole started off small but as multiple cars drove over it, it became gradually larger.
A black Skoda drove into a small hole on Carlton Road, near Worksop's train station, at around 7.45am on Saturday . By Saturday evening, the hole reached close to the pavement from the centre of the road. A small section of Carlton Road was closed off by Nottinghamshire Police on Saturday.
