Sad news for everyone involved
Two restaurants near Showcase Cinema at Lenton are set to close by the end of May. Frankie & Benny's and Chiquito, off Redfield Way, are both earmarked for closure.
A total of 18 Frankie & Benny's and four Chiquitos will close, along with a branch of Firejacks. The Restaurant Group expects to save £5million a year by closing its loss-making restaurants.There's now only one remaining American Italian Frankie & Benny's left in Nottinghamshire, at Giltbrook Retail Park. Sites in Nottingham city centre and Mansfield have both closed within the last three years.
