Storm Babet brought nasty conditions this week
It's fair to say we are now into the colder months, with weather warnings following one another on an almost-weekly basis.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Showers or longer spells of rain have the potential to lead to some disruption, particularly for eastern areas."Friday night will see rain in the south clearing with drier weather and a few clear spells extending from the north overnight, though also a few showers too. Fresh to strong northeasterly winds, Minimum temperature 5C.
"Mainly dry and bright on Sunday, but occasionally heavy rain Monday, with strong east or southeast winds. Some rain Tuesday morning but drier and brighter in afternoon and less breezy."
