You have spoken and crowned a winner!
While summer may be coming to an end, there's never a bad time to take a trip to the garden centre. Even in the winter they can be a brilliant place to relax and unwind among the beautiful plants.
Of course you can also go and enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake in the cafe. Across Northamptonshire, we have a great array of different centres. We all have our favourite and so we asked our readers to name the best in the county. Our final poll received over 800 votes with the winner receiving 404 of those.
From a shortlist of five centres, the winner has been crowned. According to our readers, Whilton Locks Garden Village in Daventry is the best garden centre in Northamptonshire.Coming in second was Bosworth's Garden Centre in Kettering with 158 votes and third place was taken by Beckwork Emporium in Northampton with 118 votes.
Finally, Bell Plantation in Towcester received a respectable 72 votes with Crick Garden Centre in Northampton receiving 53 votes. A huge congratulations to our winner!
