Highways England is seeking a new contractor to redevelop the Thickthorn A47/A11 junction.
The Thickthorn junction on the Norwich approach crosses the A11 and the A47 and has been earmarked for an upgrade since 2014A business group has expressed concern after it emerged a new contractor was being sought to carry out the redevelopment of a major road junction.
"This funding was delivered in 2014... and as yet we haven't seen any work start on the A47, particularly at Thickthorn roundabout," she said. Three projects have been given the go-ahead by government for the A47, including the Thickthorn redevelopment.
