Non-monogamous Carol Vorderman's 'special friends' include astronaut who phoned her from space
The 61 year-old even said that she has several "special friends", one of whom is an astronaut who rang her from space.
While hosting a a new match-making section on the show with presenter Gyles Brandreth, Carol explained: "Our mothers told us that we should marry when we were still 18 or 19 or 20, so we grew up with that convention that you should find one partner for life. So for the last decade or so, I've lived a life which is much freer," she said. "I've never felt freer. So I have ignored the looking for one person and I have a number of what I've called 'special friends'."
