I have no reason to doubt school's inspection, Ofsted boss tells BBC in first interview since head teacher's death
She’s faced controversy over the past few months after headteacher Ruth Perry took her own life ahead of the release of an inspection report rating her primary school inadequate.
The incident has sparked renewed criticism of the one word ratings the body’s inspectors give to schools - outstanding, good, requires improvement or inadequate - which the head of the National Association of Head Teachers says are“too simplistic”.
