The days are getting lighter and lighter and we are a couple of months away from the clocks changing

You know how it goes, you wake up in the dark, go to work, and by time it's hit 5pm, it's dark again.

People around the UK will soon start to notice that the days are beginning to get noticeably brighter. The country has been seeing just over two minutes of extra light every day since the Winter Solstice on December 21.The 30 countries where Brits face paying extra charge to visit this year - including Spain

Even though the date is different, the time stays the same every year. At 1am the clocks will bounce forward an hour, meaning you lose out on some sleep, but it also means the days will be lighter for longer from that point on.
