The Irishman took the time to show some love to his pal Lewis Capaldi, who is taking some time away from performing, during his set.
Niall Horan paid a touching tribute to good friend Lewis Capaldi as he asked the TRNSMT crowd to join in on a "we love Lewis" chant.
Speaking to the Glasgow crowd, Niall said: "I know this is on television. Our good friend Mr Capaldi is watching. Shall we give him a little shout?” After counting to three, the fans then joined the former One Direction man cheering "we love Lewis".
